    Rapid Deployment Health Infrastructure

In April 2020, we partnered with Weatherhaven Global Resources to design and build state-of-the-art modular soft-walled mobile health units to support the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 response. The contract, awarded by Public Services and Procurement Canada, was for up to ten, 100-person medical facilities that could be rapidly deployed, anywhere.

In 2021, we led the logistics, planning and deployment of two mobile health units to Ontario to expand hospital capacity in Toronto and Hamilton when healthcare systems were at a critical state during the pandemic.

    Emergency Management Expertise

As an experienced logistics and operational support services provider, we ensured the structures were safely installed, utilities were in place and facilities maintained and operational throughout their deployment. The units remained on standby, should they be needed anywhere across Canada or the world.

Our ability to rapidly respond to emergency requirements, our network of partners and resources and ability to scale our solutions to meet the needs of any situation is why ATCO is a leader in disaster and emergency management.
