Frontec Ranks Again in Canada's Top 100 Defence Companies
We're Honoured to Make CDR's List for 2024
This month ATCO Frontec has been named to Canadian Defence Review’s (CDR) 2024 list of Top Defence Companies. The list comprises 100 innovative companies in the defence and aerospace industry, and we’re proud to have ranked at number 52.
Each year the leading defence and military magazine ranks companies based on factors such as their impact to the country’s economy, research & development initiatives, innovation, contribution to our national security, national and international contract wins, excellence of management and support of Canada’s military.
Our current defence portfolio includes projects with Defence Construction Canada, providing facility operations and maintenance across Alberta at 15 DND sites, as well as continued operational support of defence infrastructure at the Arctic Forward Operating Locations.
Our Inuit partnership, Nasittuq Corporation, operates and maintains the North Warning System, and provides site support services at Canadian Forces Station Alert. Our knowledge of the North and strong relationships with Indigenous communities and defence industry partnerships have positioned us well for continued growth.
NORAD Modernization is a growing priority
NORAD modernization and support for the F-35 programs remain high priorities, and Frontec is focusing on opportunities to support these defence projects.

ATCO Frontec International also serves NATO in Europe, with projects located in Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo. These provide a promising foothold for generating future work in the region.
